The Moving Group
Building a stronger industry
for the future
If you would like to become a member of The Moving Group, please contact
us and we will send you a membership application package. The Moving
Group will only approve those membership applications from companies who
have agreed to abide by the code of conduct of The Moving Group.
Some items in The Moving Group code of conduct
include:
Dealing with Clients and dispute resolution.
Members of The Moving Group are expected to deal promptly and
efficiently with all clients.
Staff
It is expected that members of The Moving Group will only use highly
experienced staff at all times.
Vehicles and Equipment
All member vehicles must be maintained to the standards required by
legislation, must be fully enclosed, and kept clean both internally and
externally. All members of The Moving Group must ensure that all
materials and equipment used are in a safe and sound condition, adequate
for the work to be undertaken.
Insurance
All members must maintain the correct insurance cover to protect them
against public liability and motor vehicle third party property damage
claims, as well as hold a current transit insurance policy for fire,
flood, collision and overturning of the vehicle.
Disputes and Complaints
All disputes and complaints must be reported immediately to The Moving
group regardless of the size of the dispute. The Moving Group will be
the determining body to resolve such dispute, and such determination
will be final. Should the member choose to have this matter dealt with
in any other way, The Moving group may cancel all dealings present and
future with the contractor member, with no further notice or
repercussion.
Code of Conduct
Members agree to abide by The Moving Group Code of Conduct.
Contracts
The contract conditions used by the member must be at least as favorable
to the client as those contained in The Moving Group Contract. Any
subsequently adopted variation thereof must be approved by The Moving
Group.
